Senior Software Engineer at a London hedge fund. I work across the business: operations systems, trading infrastructure, whatever needs building. Mostly C# and .NET, hosted on Azure. A fair amount of data visualisation thrown in too.

The role of a software engineer changed fundamentally in early 2026. I don't believe anyone fully has a handle on it yet. I'm figuring it out the same as everyone else.

Outside work I'm building things for fun, currently a Pimoroni Presto desk companion.
